This is a simulation of the famous Buffon's Needle Problem which asks: "What is the probability that needles dropped randomly on a plank floor will hit a crack?"

Assuming you actually care, select a number of needles to drop and hit the 'Drop Needles' button to watch the simulation. Needles with red 'head' hit a crack.

Summary results are shown below the graph. In our configuration, the length of a needles is equal to the spacing between planks.
