Why this app? We used it as a platform for building drop down menus dynamically: Who wants to build a manual menu for over 100 years?!
Also, dealing with times, dates and time zones can be tricky, so that gave us some practice on those 'timeless' topics, wink!
Additionally, we used a technique to 'build' links in such a way that we were able to harness the power of other sites to get information. Why reinvent the wheel?!
Age trivia: we used this info to determine the oldest person on record.
